About the Agents
Bob Carlson is Broker and owner of Coffee House Real Estate. Bob was born and raised in Edina, Minnesota. Bob began his real estate career in 2002 with Edina Realty. With the experience gleamed from the fast-paced, active Minneapolis/St. Paul market, Bob moved with his wife, Mimi, and their three children to Houston, MN in 2003 and opened Coffee House Real Estate in 2005. Bob and his family live on 20 acres in Looney Valley with their horses. Bob is the president of Houston’s Chamber of Commerce and both Bob and Mimi are highly involved in the community.
Laura Miles, real estate salesperson, joined Coffee House Real Estate in 2007. Laura was originally raised in Houston County on a farm outside of Caledonia, MN. After many travels and 10 years in Alaska, Laura returned to the area of her youth and now resides in Houston with her dogs. Laura’s family still owns part of the original farm near Freeburg and much of her “free” time is dedicated to working and playing on it. The farm is certified organic and raises crops, vegetables, red angus cows, a few sheep, bees, honey, and occasionally maple syrup. Laura is very involved in herding and loves to take her border collie, Bo, out to drive sheep over the rolling hills. Laura began her real estate career in 2004 and has worked with Sanden Realty and Century 21 Affiliated.
Bob and Laura are very excited about teaming up as we have great diversity to offer both each other and our clients. Both are licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin and are members of the National Board of Realtors and the Souteast Minnesota Board of Realtors.
