About the Agents
Bob Carlson is Broker and owner of Coffee House Real Estate. Bob was born and raised in Edina, Minnesota. Bob began his real estate career in 2002 with Edina Realty. With the experience gleaned from the fast-paced, active Minneapolis/St. Paul market, Bob moved with his wife, Mimi, and their three children to Houston, MN in 2003 and opened Coffee House Real Estate in 2005. Bob and his family live on an acerage in Looney Valley with their horses. Bob is the Treasurer of the Bluff Country HRA and past-president of Houston’s Chamber of Commerce and both Bob and Mimi are highly involved in the community.
Steve Halvorson is a life-long area resident. He owned and operated a service station, convenience store, and bulk fuel delivery business for 31 years, serving Houston, Fillmore, and Winona counties. He is a graduate of Houston High School, and Winona State University. Steve has served on numerous boards and committees at the local, state and national levels. Most notable are his appointment to the National Jobber Advisory Board, 1992-1995, and his 20 year term as a member of the Houston Volunteer Fire Department, serving as Secretary for 13 years. Steve also served as a board member for Houston Co Group Homes, and the Valley View Manor Elderly Housing Complex. Steve has personal experience in buying and selling Commercial, Agricultural, and Residential Real Estate, and he is anxious to put it to use for you.
